At ICTek Empowerment Hub, we are dedicated to bridging the digital skills gap by providing high-quality, accessible, and affordable technology and digital training.

As a non-profit organisation, our mission is to empower underrepresented groups—including young people, women, career changers, and individuals not currently engaged in education or employment—by equipping them with the technical skills needed for in-demand careers.

Our Vision

We envision a future where technology careers are accessible to everyone, regardless of background.

By fostering inclusivity, offering hands-on training, and providing globally recognised certifications, we strive to build a diverse and skilled workforce ready to meet the challenges of the digital age.

At ICTek Empowerment Hub, we are not just training individuals—we are creating the next generation technology and digital professionals to power the digital economy.

Why ICTEK’S Mission Matters

The technology industry is facing a critical shortage of entry-level talent. According to the ISC2 Cybersecurity Workforce Study (2024), nearly 31% of cybersecurity professionals report a lack of entry-level team members, and 15% indicate a shortage of junior-level professionals (1–3 years’ experience). Similarly, demand for IT professionals in networking, AI, IT support, and service management has been growing at an average rate of 14% annually since 2016 (UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport).

At the same time, barriers to entry remain high—many organisations demand prior experience for junior roles, making it difficult for new talent to enter the workforce. Additionally, diversity in tech remains a challenge, with underrepresented groups struggling to access career opportunities. ICTek is changing that.
